Video Technology & Marketing Intern [Summer 2023]
Studio Process is seeking a Video Technology & Marketing Intern to develop business and technology-related procedures, as well as perform market research to increase engagement with the Studio Process brand. As an intern, you’ll be a hands-on part of the team, creating a lasting impact for clients with an ever-increasing demand for video engagement after the pandemic. We’re here to help you grow as a professional and we’re looking for support from a candidate who is seeking a multidisciplinary experience within the video technology and marketing industry.
This is a paid internship running from early June through August, 2023. Must be a college student (undergraduate or graduate student) within one to two years of graduation* at one of the Iowa community colleges, private colleges, Regent universities or a student who graduated from high school in Iowa but attends an institution of higher learning outside of Iowa, pursuing a degree in the information technology sphere with an interest in video/audio, websites, computer storage and data management, marketing and communications, or related.

• Self-motivated, creative individual looking for real-world experience within the video marketing and technology industry
• Dependable with the ability to collaborate and/or work independently.

• Have a knack for storytelling
• Ability to use critical thinking whilst maintaining creativity. A mindset for creating within constraints and organizational systems
• Must have strong attention to detail, organization. Ability to follow patterns, systems, and file-naming conventions.
• An interest in computing and camera technology
• Act as a problem-solver where more than one solution sometimes exists
• Desire to learn and grow soft and hard skills. Willingness to be flexible and adapt to a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities from week to week.
• Have an eye for visual design, composition, and color theory.
• Strong computer skills required as well as excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Knowledge of Adobe Premiere Pro required, keeping in mind this is an opportunity to learn and expand upon existing skill set. Some After Effects knowledge is desired, but not required.
• Social media analytics knowledge a plus

• Performing market research and data analysis for use in business planning, including but not limited to Environmental, social, and governance (ESG) programs within Iowa companies
• Lead generation
• Outline and build on development of Studio Process Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and assist in fine-tuning internal and external-facing communications associated with SOP
• Research technology trends and equipment such as Artificial Intelligence; cinema cameras, lenses, and rigs; and hardware for high-performing video editing computer systems
• Website administration and improvements
• Develop and implement strategy and content for electronic communications content, including email newsletters, social media platforms, and website
• Import and organize video assets into various software programs such as Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects
• Assist with video editorial and/or motion graphics and animation as opportunities arise
• Perform data backups, catalog physical and cloud-based backups, and assist with research to update systems management as business scales
• Accompany and assist Studio Process team on set when shooting video on location
